摘  要:
以彩色图像为处理对象,提出一种基于傅里叶变换的水果形状分级方法,采用梯度法检测彩色水果图像的边缘,再用边界跟踪算法获取水果的轮廓半径序列,然后将其进行离散傅里叶变换,最后利用傅里叶系数定义分类器,根据给定的分类阈值对水果形状进行分类,对不同水果形状的试验证明了这种方法的有效性。

摘  要:
A Fourier-based shape separation approach was developed for grading fruits using color image. Gradient operators were used for detecting color edges, and a boundary-tracing algorithm was applied to get a sequence of radiuses of the boundary, which were transformed to frequency domain with Fourier transform. A shape separator based on Fourier coefficients was defined to classify fruits by given thresholds. Experiments showed that the shape separator was effective and efficient for different shape separation. Incorporating with other inspection process such as size, color, blemishes, etc, the proposed approach has a great potential to assist people with automated fruit grading.
