炭气凝胶研究现状及其发展前景

摘 要:
炭气凝胶是有机凝胶经超临界干燥与炭化方法得到的一种新型多孔性炭材料,兼具气凝胶轻质多孔、低密度、高比表面积等特性,以及炭材料的导电、传热、耐高温、耐酸碱等一系列优点,这些优良性能使炭气凝胶成为炭材料研究与应用中的一个热点。炭气凝胶的发展极为迅速,其制备原料已经不仅仅局限于传统的交联型酚醛预聚体,从来源广泛的生物质材料制备炭气凝胶已成为可能。笔者从炭气凝胶制备原料入手,概述了炭气凝胶的各种制备原料及其制备方法,介绍了炭气凝胶的性质及各种改性方法,并对炭气凝胶在电化学、吸附材料、催化剂及其载体与贮氢材料等领域的应用情况进行了评述。最后,在深入分析了研究现状的基础上,对炭气凝胶的发展前景进行了展望。

摘 要:
Carbon aerogels are synthetic porous materials derived from sol-gel carbon materials,in which the liquid component is replaced with gas from the complete structure of solid nanometer without pore collapse.As a kind of novel nanoscale carbonaceous material,the carbon aerogel has attracted extensive interest from both academic and industries due to its specific properties,such as low density,high specific surface area,large pore volume,good thermal stability and high electrical conductivity.Accordingly,carbon aerogels are promising materials in various fields,for instance,adsorbents,catalyst supports and supercapacitors.On the other hand,the unique cross-linked structure with abundant open pores,makes carbon aerogels attractive candidates for the application in the separation of oil and water.Resorcinol-formaldehyde is the main precursor to fabricate organic carbon aerogels via sol-gel,solvent exchange,drying and carbonization.However,the preparation of resorcinol-formaldehyde carbon aerogel requires large volumes of chemicals,thus hampering their large-scale production for industry application.At present,there is a growing trend in producing carbon aerogels from biomass raw materials,and biomass precursors have been successfully prepared for carbon aerogels due to the development of the sol-gel technology.Therefore,the preparation of carbon aerogel was summarized in this paper.Meanwhile,properties and application of carbon aerogel was described.In addition,aperspective on the carbon aerogel materials and the research area in the future was discussed.
