Grassland establishment and rehabilitation implicates artificial grassland establishing and native pasture rehabilitating. A synthesized technique frame for grassland establishment and rehabilitation in inland salined region should include both biofactors and environmental factors ,i.e. species selection, seedbed preparation, sowing time determination, mixture swards establishment, an effective irrigation and drainage system as well as adequate fertilizing and cutting frequency. The forage yield was 10 t,4.6t and 8.7 t /hm2 respectively for sudangrass(Sorghum sudanense), meadow fescue (Festuca elatior) and mixture of alkaligrass(Puccinellia tenuiflora), sweet clover (Melilotus officinalis) and meadow fescue,2years after the technique implementation at Linze experimental area, Gansu province. The 2 m depth drainage ditch showed an effective function to reduce the total soluble salt content within 060 cm soil profile, meanwhile the soil OM content increased by 0.6 g/kg, available N, total N, total P of soil went up 24.56% ,25.21%,35.07% respectively compared to the initial establishment. N fertilizer significantly increased the total biomass and total density of Leymus dasystachys + Phragmite communis sward in Hexi corridor, the community structure and biomass could be affected by
