The Process Study on γ-ray Radiation Sterilization of Rose Buds

摘 要:
Sterilization of rose buds by ~(60)Coγ-ray and effect on its components were studied.Results showed that irradiation was very effective in killing microorganisms in rose buds.The population of microorganisms,such as aerobic bacterial count,moulds and coliform bacteria,decreased with increase of irradiation dose.The D10 values for aerobic bacterial count and moulds were 2.63 kGy and 3.61 kGy,respectively.Rose buds,irradiated with 7.4 kGy,did not obvious effect in chemical components,including protein,total polysaccharide,free amino acid,pigment of rose,while tannin reduced by 9.3%.It may be concluded that the treatment of irradiation sterilization can increase rose buds quality guarantee period much longer.
