碱处理竹原纤维/不饱和聚酯复合材料的力学性能及界面表征

摘  要:
采用模压成型方法制备竹原纤维增强不饱和聚酯(UPE)复合材料,以1%、3%和5%Na OH溶液处理竹原纤维,以改善纤维与UPE树脂间的界面相容性。结果表明:碱处理竹原纤维显著提高了复合材料的拉伸强度、弯曲强度和弯曲模量;1%Na OH溶液处理竹原纤维得到的复合材料力学性能最佳。碱处理后纤维的傅里叶红外光谱(FT-IR)与X-射线光电子能谱(XPS)分析表明:碱处理可移除纤维表面木素、半纤维素以及杂质等,使竹原纤维的纤维素相对含量增加,纤维表面变得粗糙。复合材料拉伸断面扫描电镜(SEM)分析表明:碱处理纤维改善了竹原纤维与UPE树脂的界面粘结。

摘  要:
Bamboo fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester( UPE) composites were prepared by hand lay-up compression molding.The bamboo fibers were treated with 1%,3% and 5% Na OH solution,respectively,to improve the interfacial adhesion between the fibers and UPE resins.The results indicated that the alkali treatment for bamboo fibers significantly increased the tensile strength,flexural strength and flexural modulus of the bamboo / UPE composites.The composites from bamboo fibers treated with 1% Na OH solution had the highest tensile strength,flexural strength and flexural modulus.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy( FT-IR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy( XPS) analysis of the treated fibers indicated that some impurities such as hemicellulose and lignin were removed from the surface of the fibers by alkali treatment.Scanning electron microscope( SEM) images of the tensile-fractured surfaces of the composites revealed that alkali treatment for bamboo fibers improved the interfacial adhesion between the fibers and UPE resins.
