Leaching of Nutrient Elements in a Red Soil Derived from Quaternary Red Clay

摘  要:
A red soil derived from Quaternary red clay was employed to studynutrient leaching with soil columns repacked in laboratory. Theobjective was to identify the effects of fertilization practices onleaching patterns and magnitudes of Ca~2+, Mg~2+, K+, NH~+_4, andNO_3. The treatments were CK (as a control), CaCO_3, CaSO_4, MGCO_3,Ca(H_2PO_4)_2. urea, KCl, and multiple (a mixture of theabove-mentioned fertilizers). The fertilizers wee added to the baresurface of the soil columns, an then the columns were leached with120 mL deionized water daily though peristaltic pumps over a periodof 92 days.
