Research on the Management Division Method of Urban National Forest Park Based on Both the Ecological and Aesthetical Functions

Urban national forest park is located in urban planning area and is comprised of single forest type of scenic forest,being endowed with multiple functions of touring,natural conservation and supplying entertainment to local residents,thus making the management direction of urban national forest park diversified and complex.Zijin Mountain national forest park is selected as the case study area and data from forest resources inventory,high resolution image of QuickBird as well as results of forest aesthetic evaluation are gathered to do management division of the forest park from two aspects of ecological and aesthetical functions.ArcGis is chosen as the platform of spatial analyses and the park is divided into five management sub-areas namely North Forest Touring Area,Natural Conservation Area,Ridge Ecological Protection Area,Historic Relics Area,South Local Residents Recreation Area.By applying the method mentioned above,the conflicts between touring,ecological conservation and recreation by local residents can be solved harmoniously,providing reference for management division in urban forest park.
