In order to establish an more effective and convenient method for co-inoculation with the classical swine fever virus(CSFV) lyophilized live vaccine and the porcine circovirus type 2(PCV2) inactivated vaccine, the feasibility of co-injecting of CSFV lyophilized live vaccine and PCV2 killed vaccine was evaluated in vitro and in vivo. The results of the infected cells showed that the virus titers of the CSFV lyophilized live vaccine was not reduced by combining with the PCV2 inactivated vaccine. The CSFV lyophilized live vaccine and PCV2 inactivated vaccine were mixed and injected into pigs in one shot. Then, the CSFV and PCV2 specific antibodies were detected from the blood samples collected from the pigs at 4, 7, 14, 28, 60 and 90 d post vaccination. The results showed that, compared with individual vaccine immunization, CSFV and PCV2 specific antibodies were not affected by the co-vaccination in one shot, and the specific antibodies were evenly distributed in this manner of vaccination.
