摘 要:
To explore the effects of tree branch mulching on the physical and chemical properties of desertified soils in Ningxia. In this study, decomposed tree branches and non-decomposed tree branches were used as materials to investigate the effects of two kinds of material mulching on soil moisture, temperature, pH and nutrients, and weed control in Ningxia sandy land vineyard. The results showed that crushing tree branches to cover aeolian sandy soil orchards could increase soil organic matter content, reduce soil pH value, increase soil nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium content, buffer the sharp change of soil temperature and effectively maintain soil moisture, and decomposed tree branches could improve soil organic matter and nutrients more effectively than non-decomposed branches. In addition, tree branch mulching can effectively reduce the growth of surface weeds.
