农园城市:欠发达地区城乡一体化的一种新模式

摘  要：
城市不是目的,而是一种手段,一种使人健康舒适生活的手段。过去经常提到的农村城市化,应改为城乡一体化的提法才较妥当。因为只有城市和农村相结合、统筹发展,才能最终摆脱现代城市异化的弊端。借助霍华德田园城市的理论,提出构建城乡一体化的农园城市,其符合我国欠发达地区的实际需求。

摘  要：
City is not a goal but an approach which may give a healthy and suitable life style to the people. The concept of integration of urban and rural areas is better than that of the traditional urbanization of rural areas, because only by the coordination and integration of urban-rural development can the city differentiation be broken away. According to the Theory of Garden City by Howard, to build up a coordinated urban-rural farming city is more suitable for the actual situation in the undeveloped areas in China. We believe that the industrialization of modern agriculture is the first step for the building of the farming city.
