The rubber plantations with the chronosequences of 5 a(young rubber forest), 10 a(middle-age rubber forest) and 30 a(old-aged rubber forest), eucalyptus forest of 30 years and tropical secondary forest were selected to study the differences of different microbial groups under different forest types and its changes with the seasons. Results showed the different microbial groups size order for bacteria, actinomycetes, fungi, and bacteria accounted for 93.17%-98.56% in total microbe. The order of total soil microbial under different forest types for young rubber forest, middle-age rubber forest, tropical secondary forest, old-aged rubber forest, eucalyptus forest; the number of soil microorganism in different forest types was significantly different with the seasonal variation. From the dry season to the rainy season, the number of bacteria and actinomycetes decreased firstly and then increased, and the changes of soil fungi in different forest types were different; in 0-30 cm deep soil layer, the soil microbial biomass under five forest types was not significantly different with the soil depth; there was negative correlation between three major soil microbial groups to soil moisture content and soil p H value. There was positively correlated between three major soil microbial groups to soil organic matter.
