低穗位无叶舌耐密玉米种质10H045的创制与应用

摘  要:
为快速创新玉米育种种质,山西省农业科学院谷子研究所利用化学诱变剂EMS对使用范围广、配合力高的自交系昌7-2进行了诱发变异。结果在田间发现了低穗位无叶舌的新种质,自交2代即稳定出圃,定名为10H045。该自交系和昌7-2相比,株高降低10 cm,穗位高降低10 cm,主茎叶片数减少1片,整株叶片无叶舌,穗上叶无夹角,包着茎秆生长,雄穗分枝减少60%。这些特性都为用其组配出株型更加紧凑、株高低、穗位低、雄穗小的杂交种提供了可能,从而为增加种植密度打下了基础。

摘  要:
To broaden the germplasm resource of maize,the wide-used and high combining ability maize inbred lines Chang 7-2 was mutated using chemical inducer EMS.The result showed that 10H045 of liguleless maize germplasm was discovered in the field and came out of nursery steadily in selfing F2 generation.Compared with Chang 7-2,the plant height and ear height of new inbred line reduced 10,10 cm,respectively,and the number of main stem leaves lost a leaf.It had not ligule in all the leaves and had almost no the leaf angle uppermost ear.The stem was wrapped with the leaves above ear.The number of tassel branch was reduced about 60%.All these characteristics of 10H045 offered the possibility of breeding dwarf maize hybrid with compact-type and low ear height and small tassel,which would lay the foundation to increase planting density.
