咖啡树咖啡碱合成相关基因研究进展

摘  要:
咖啡是世界三大饮料之一,其含有的咖啡碱,适量摄入对身体有益,过多则有害。因此,培育低咖啡碱或无咖啡碱咖啡品种具有非常重要的意义。目前,已从多数植物中分离并克隆出咖啡碱合成的相关基因,并研究了其表达特点和相关酶活性的调节机制,探讨培育低咖啡碱咖啡树的可能途径和存在的问题。综述近年来咖啡树咖啡碱合成与代谢的研究进展,展望如何培育出生长快、成本低、安全稳定的低咖啡碱植株,从而实现农业推广。

摘  要:
Coffee was one of the three major beverages in the world. Coffee contains caffeine, and is good to the health when taken adequately but harmful when taken too much. It is, therefore, very important to breed low caffeine or caffeine-free coffee varieties. The genes related to caffeine synthesis had been isolated and cloned from most of plants, and their expression and regulatory mechanisms underlying the activities of related enzymes had been analyzed. The problems and ways of breeding low caffeine or caffeine-free coffee varieties were discussed. The research progress of caffeine synthesis and metabolism in recent years were reviewed, based on which a prospect was made for breeding and extension of low caffeine coffee varieties with fast growth, low cost, safety and stability.
