摘 要：
Tyrosinase related protein 1(TYRP1) is involved in regulation and control of melanin synthesis,and it is a member of tyrosinase family.The paper reviews melanin synthesis and its research progress.The structure,function and application in species of TYRP1 gene which affects melanin synthesis were also reviewed.
