摘 要:
Strobilomyia melaniola (Fan, 1982) is known as an important pest injurious to larch cone in Northeast China. In this paper the authors deal with a further description of this species including the female and the pupal as well as some male characteristics owing to the necessity of working on bionomics, controlling measures and monitoring for it. The material examined were from Neimenggu, Heilongjiang and Liaoning, China. A comparison with the related species S. uiaria(Huckett, 1965) and S. sibirica Michelsen, 1988 is given and discussed. The explanation of Roman numerical symbols appeared in following table is shown below.I. Color of wing bases and calypters in male; Ⅱ. Number of hairs on notopleura in male; Ⅲ. Number of setae of medial series on basal part of 5th sternite, which is basal to the longest lateral seta inclusive; Ⅳ. Number of hairs between medial and lateral series of setae on 5th sternite in male; V. Apical setae on cereal plate; Ⅵ. Ratio of the thickness of apical part to that of basal part of surstylus; Ⅶ. Ratio of width to length of surstylus; Ⅷ. Incision between medial flange and lobe of surstylus; Ⅸ. Ratio of length of basiphallus to length of aedeagus; X. Ratio of thickness to length of aedeagus; Ⅺ. Ratio of length of acrophallic pins to length of aedeagus; Ⅻ. Ratio, of length of acrophallic sclerite to length of aedeagus; ⅩⅢ. Number of hairs on notopleura in female; ⅩⅣ. Acrostichal setae in female) ⅩⅤ. Prealar in female; ⅩⅥ. Apical angle of epiproct; ⅩⅦ, Curvature of hind margin of hypoproct; ⅩⅧ. Ratio of width to length of cercus in It is conclude that Strobilomyia melaniola (Fan) is more closely related to S, sibirica Michelsen thanto S, viaria(Huckett),
