摘  要:
地理学的发展和每一次质的飞跃总是与人类社会的进步和科学技术的发展密不可分。社会发展到信息时代,传统的技术方法已经无法适应社会对地理学的挑战。伴随着信息革命的进程和逐渐成熟的地理信息系统和遥感技术以及非线性科学理论的发展及其在解决地理系统这类复杂性问题中的应用,地理信息学从萌芽状态逐渐破土而出,使地理学发生了前所未有的革命性的质的飞跃。

摘  要:
The development and each qualitative leap are always closely related to the advancement of human society and the development of science and technology.In contemporary information age,the traditional methods and technologies have not adapted to the challenges of the society towards geography.With the course of information revolution,gradually mature geographic information system and remote sensing technology and the development of nonlinear scientific theory and the application in the research of solving the complexity problems of geographic system,geographical informatics gradually emerged and brought geography an unprecedented and revolutionary qualitative leap.
