上海动物园灵长动物检索图的设计与应用

摘  要：
上海动物园共饲养了42种9科27属灵长动物,为了促使公众游客体验从走马观花式的游览改变为以主动观察为主导,促进公众以自我观察学习的方式深化对灵长动物的了解,本研究开发了一套以成年灵长动物外观特征为主要依据、适合普通公众在上海动物园使用的灵长动物检索图。本检索图在遵循传统分类方法的基础上,根据典型稳定的毛色和外部结构特征进行设计,适合于非专业人士,填补了动物园保护教育的空白。使用访问显示多数游客认为本检索图简单明了,能够根据提示结合观察快速找到答案。该反馈表明,本检索图在动物园的使用能够提高普通公众对灵长动物的了解,做到寓教于乐。未来可以此为基础,开发更多适合于非专业人士和保护教育的动物检索图。

摘  要：
There are 42 primate species of 9 families and 27 genera enclosed in Shanghai Zoo.In order to change the visitor experience from casting only a passing glance at animals to initiative observation,and to promote the public understanding of primate animals by self-learning,we designed a primate identification for the public based mainly on the appearance characteristics of adult primates in Shanghai Zoo.Following the traditional classification method,the identification key was designed by typical and stable hair color and external structure traits,aiming to suit non-professionals.Thus,it filled the vacancy of conservation education in zoos.Interviews showed that most visitors regarded the identification key as simple and clear.With observation,they could quickly find the answers according to the hint.The feedback also showed that the identification key was not only educational and enjoyable but also increased the public understanding of primates.In the future,based on this study,we could design more animal identification keys for conservation education of non-professionals.
