[Objective]The technique of the airyfruit musella culture in vitro and rapid propagation was researched.[Method]The airyfruit musella sucker being taken as explants,the induction of adventitious bud,its proliferation and the plantlet rooting were experimented.[Result]The induction medium suitable for the proliferation of adventitious bud was Modified MS +6-BA 3.0 mg/L +NAA 0.3 mg/L +AC 2.0 g/L +Vc 0.1 g/L +sugar 30 g/L +agar 8 g/L and its proliferation coefficient was 4.89.The optimum rooting medium was 1/4 Modified MS +IBA 0.5 mg/L +sugar 20 g/L + agar 8 g/L and the rooting rate was as high as 100.00%,with the average rooting number of 4.60 and the average length of root of 3.40 cm;and the survival rate of plantlets' transplanting was 91%.[Conclusion]The base of the extension and application of airyfruit musella on a large scale could be laid through the study.
