铂、锡共修饰聚吡咯电极对甲醇的电催化氧化

摘  要:
采用电化学方法在铂基体上制备铂、锡共修饰聚吡咯修饰电极,以提高对有机小分子的电催化氧化。对其制备条件及电化学性质进行了讨论,并用于甲醇的电催化氧化,循环伏安及放电实验表明具有较好的电催化活性,比裸铂电极上的电流峰高近30倍。进而探讨了甲醇在该电极上的电催化氧化机理,认为电催化活性的提高是由于Sn在电极表面的吸附和在PPy膜中的嵌入,吸附活性氧,减少铂电极表面的中毒。

摘  要:
Platinum and Tin modified polypyrrole film electrode(Pt-Sn/PPy electrode) is fabricated by electrochemistry technique for the research on its electrochemical behaviors.Results show the Pt-Sn/PPy electrode is electro-catalytically more active than a Pt electrode in the anodic oxidation of Methanol.During the oxidation,a 30-fold increase in the oxidation peak is observed for methanol.Then the electro-catalytic oxidation reaction mechanism of CH_3OH on Pt-Sn/PPy electrode is discussed.In our opinion,tin has been experimentally verified to adsorb oxygen or oxygen-containing species to decrease the poisoning adsorption on Pt electrode.
