The number of branch with different levers of Artemisia ordosica,A.desertorum,Haloxylon ammodendron,Hedysarum scoparium,Nitraria tangutorum,Reaumuria soongorica,Calligonum mongolicumand two types' simulated shrubs were determined, meanwhile the branching structure and sand-filled yield were analyzed, which offered information to select the shrub for control the sandy disaster with shrub and reference on making up simulated shrub.Result shows that:it is the largest to sand-filled yield by the semi-spherical shape of simulated shrub;it is inversely proportional to sand-filled yield and overall branching ratio of shrub, while amount of sand-filled yield depend on the branching structure of shrub. The branching structure with the largest amount of fusiformand hemispherical shape of shrub is a dense inside and sparse outside,as well as urceolus shape of shrub with a branching structure of sparse inside and outside and dense middle. The sand-filled yield of shrub is closely related to the complexity of the branching structure, and increase with the increase of the total stepwise branching ratio and the overall branching ratio of shrub.
