摘 要:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of gallnut extract on growth performance,intestinal morphology,immune function,antioxidant capacity and intestinal microbiota of yellow-feathered chickens during 1 to 42 days of age. A total of 600 healthy one-day-old female Xinguang 901 chickens with initial body weight of(39.75±0.02)g were randomly assigned to 4 groups with 6 replicates per group and 25 chickens per replicate. Chickens in the control group were fed a basal diet,chickens in the antibiotic group were fed the basal diet supplemented with 2 mg/kg enlanamycin,chickens in the gallnut 1 group were fed the basal diet supplemented with 250 mg/kg gallnut extract,and others in the gallnut 2 group were fed the basal diet supplemented with 500 mg/kg gallnut extract. The experiment lasted for 42 days. The results showed as follows:1)compared with the control group,the body weight at 42 days of age,average daily gain during 22 to42 days of age and average daily gain during 1 to 42 days of age of gallnut 2 group were increased,but had no significantly difference(P>0.05). 2)Compared with the control group,the villus height and villus height/crypt depth value in ileum of gallnut 2 group were significantly increased(P<0.05);and the villus height/crypt depth value in ileum of gallnut 2 group was significantly higher than that of antibiotic group(P<0.05).3)Compared with the control group,the contents of secretory immunoglobulin A(sIgA)andγ-interferon(IFN-γ)in jejunum of gallnut 1 group and gallnut 2 group were significantly increased(P<0.05),the contents of interleukin-8(IL-8)and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)in jejunum were significantly decreased(P<0.05);and the jejunal sIgA content of gallnut 2 group was significantly higher than that of antibiotic group(P<0.05),the jejunal TNF-αcontent of gallnut 2 group was significantly lower than that of antibiotic group(P<0.05). 4)Compared with the control group,the ileal malondialdehyde(MDA)content of gallnut 1 group and gallnut 2 group was significantly decreased(P<0.05),and the ileal total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD)activity was significantly increased(P<0.05). 5)Compared with the control group,the mRNA relative expression levels of zonula occludens protein 1(ZO-1)and nuclear factor-E2 related factor 2(Nrf2)in ileum of gallnut 2 group were significantly increased(P<0.05);and the mRNA relative expression levels of ZO-1 and Nrf2 in ileum of gallnut 2 group were significantly higher than those of antibiotic group(P<0.05). 6)Compared with the control group,the relative abundances of Alistipes and Rikenella in cecum of gallnut 1 group and gallnut 2 group were significantly decreased(P<0.05),and the relative abundances of Bacillus and Lachnospira in cecum were significantly increased(P<0.05). In summary,dietary supplemented with 500 mg/kg gallnut extract can improve the growth performance,immune function and antioxidant capacity of yellow-feathered chickens during 1 to 42 days of age,improve the intestinal morphology,barrier function and microflora structure,it can be used as a potential substitute for antibiotics in chickens.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition,2022,34(3):1547-1558]
