摘要：

人民政协是当代中国在长期政治实践中形成的一项民主制度设计,它的发展与完善同当代中国政治文明的发展是密切联系的,直接反映了政治文明的进步。人民政协符合中国特色社会主义民主政治的本质要求,体现了中华民族兼容并蓄的优秀文化传统,符合人类政治文明的发展方向。坚持和发展这一民主制度形式对于推进社会主义政治文明建设、完善社会主义民主制度具有重要意义。

The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is a democratic instutition design,which formed in long-term political practice of contemporary China.Its development contact with the development and perfecting of Chinese political civilization,directly reflected the progress of political civilization.The People' s Political Consultative Conference matches with the essence of the Chinese special features socialism democracy, embody excellent cultural tradition of Chinese nation,accord with the direction of mankind political develop- ment.It has very important meaning for promoting the political civilization construction,and perfecting socialism democratic instutition to insist and develop the democratic form of The People's Political Consultative Confer- ence.
