环棱螺与河蚬摄食率、滤水率及对小球藻清除率研究

摘  要:
研究环棱螺与河蚬的摄食率、滤水率及对小球藻的清除率,为其在水体水质调控和生态修复方面的应用提供理论基础。环棱螺和河蚬均采集于湖南省益阳市大通湖,小球藻购于武汉水生生物研究所淡水藻种库,试验在18个2L的烧杯内进行,试验期间温度(20.0±1.0)℃,pH 6.5~7.0,试验时间7.5 h。结果显示:环棱螺和河蚬摄食率的峰值分别为10.15、4.40μg/(kg·min),滤水率峰值分别为744.08、647.57 mL/(kg·min),对小球藻的清除率峰值分别为91.31%、 65.38%;除0.5、 2.5 h外,环棱螺摄食率、滤水率及对小球藻的清除率均显著高于河蚬(P<0.05)。环棱螺和河蚬均具有较强的小球藻清除能力,但环棱螺对小球藻的清除能力要高于河蚬,作为贝类控藻方面的生态修复工具种具有较大的潜力。

摘  要:
Bioremediation is an important means of restoring aquatic ecosystems and benthic filter feeders can play an important role in remediation by removing phytoplankton and organic detritus. Bellamya sp. and Corbicula fluminea are common fresh water species, and both have great potential for controlling eutrophication of water bodies. In this study, we analyzed and compared the rates of feeding, filtration and chlorella removal for the two species, aiming to provide a theoretical basis for their use in improving water quality and ecological restoration. Bellamya sp. and C. fluminea were collected from Datong Lake in Yiyang City, Hunan Province with respective average wet masses of(3.49±0.31) g and(2.92±0.12) g and acclimated in an aquarium before testing. The chlorella removal experiment was conducted in beakers containing each species and a control, at pH 6.5-7.0 and water temperature(20.0±1.0)℃. Each trial was run in six replicates and 30 mL water was sampled at specified times(0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 5.5 and 7.5 h) for determination of chlorophyll-a concentration. Peak rates of feeding and filtration were 10.15 μg/kg·min and 744.08 mL/kg·min for Bellamya sp., and 4.40 μg/kg·min and 647.57 mL/kg·min for C. fluminea. The extent of chlorella removal increased with time, peaking at 91.31% for Bellamya sp.(5.5 h) and 65.38% for C. fluminea(7.5 h). The rates of feeding, filtration and chlorella removal for Bellamya sp. were significantly higher than the rates for C. fluminea, except for at 0.5 h and 2.5 h. Our results indicate that both Bellamya sp and C. fluminea have a strong ability to clear chlorella, but Bellamya sp. may be more suitable for ecological restoration.
