摘  要：
近代以来,苏南渔民信仰天主教现象日渐普遍,信教人数之多以及虔诚程度在农民群体中是罕见的。天主教信仰成为苏南渔民宗教信仰的最重要的特色,是他们日常生活中不可或缺的“精神食粮”。尽管近代苏南渔民信仰天主教的原因多元复杂,但“物质贫困”和“精神贫困”以及近代历史条件下天主教特有的“保护伞”功能的强力吸附,是其要因。

摘  要：
Since the recent times, the phenomenon that the fishermen believed in Catholicism had been gradually widespread. It had heuer Iceen seen that so maruy fisherman who were part of rural populiaton believed in Catholicism with extemely pious mood.The Catholic faith became the most important religious feature of the fishermen in Southern Jiangsu Province. Besides that, it was also the necessary "mental food" in their daily lives. Though the reasons that the fishermen of Southern Jiangsu Province in recent times believed in Catholicism were diverse and complicated, the main causes were the "material poverty" and "spiritual poverty and the powerful attachment of the "protective umbrella" that the Catholicism held in the recent history.
