摘  要：
The paper has introduced the functions and practice of amendment of the Fourth Edition of the "Chinese Library Classification",and put forward suggestions on the maintenance "Chinese Library Classification".The authors have par-ticipated in the amendment of Class S8 "livestock farm,animal medicine,hunting,silkworm and bee" of Class S "Agricul-ture Science" in the Fourth Edition of the "Chinese Library Classification".
