摘  要：
As an important part of forestry information, forestry periodicals play a distinct role in invigorating forestry through science and technology as follows: a carrier of forestry science and technology; a medium of transferring forestry achievement into productivity; a school for training of forestry staff; a source to enforce forestry development; a bridge for increasing forestry cooperation and exchange. Key measurements to better running periodicals were proposed for invigorating forestry through science and technology.
