摘 要:
On the basis of the test of the traction force of a model skyline carriage the paper has got the following conclusions:1. The method of angle of rise, eqs. (1), (2) or (3) and (4), and the method of tension, eqs. (1), (6) or (7), are both in good agreement with the test, but the concept of the method of track is incorrect.2. As the traction cable is almost paralleled to the track cable, the results of the method of tension are in better agreement with practice, and its approximation (7) tends to safety.3. For the skyline carriage with asingle directional traction cable, making use of the true force method of angle of rise, we can check carriage to reach the preselected point.
