By using the parallel resistivity CT technique, the trunk cross sections of Bischofia polycarpa and Frimiana simplex were monitored in the four seasons through setting a micro-electrode testing system on the sections, thus obtaining the fine distribution characteristics of the trunk sections' resistivity respectively. The compared results show that because the two tree species' medium structure are different, their wood resistivity distribution differences are significant, and the resistivity distribution uniformity of Bischofia polycarpa was worse than that of Frimiana simplex, indicating that the internal water characteristics were different in the two trees; And the resistivity values of the same tree species in different time changed significantly, indicating that the trees internal moisture content changed over time, and generally the content of the trees were more abundant in summer than in winter. This method accurately found out the distribution characteristics of the trunk internal moisture,so it can provide new means to detect and study the trees' moisture characteristics.
