本文以加拿大国家图书档案馆先进的历史文献保存技术与方法为范例,突出反映了当代科学技术发展对历史文献保护的重要意义,以及实施保护的措施与方法。并针对本馆农业古籍保存目前现状与存在的问题,提出了若干改进的对策和措施。

摘  要：
The paper presents an excellent example for the protection of historical literature in the Canadian Archives Center. It strongly has focused on the importance of advanced techniques in the protection and precaution of archives. It has also dis- cussed current situation and problems in the protection of Chinese agricultural rare books in the library of the Chinese Acade- my of Agricultural Sciences and put forward suggestions for the improvement of conditions in the storage and use of these materials.
