The important role of veterinary traditional Chinese medicine in re-breeding pigs

The Chinese veterinary medicine is extensive and profound, which has played an important role in preventing and controlling Africa swine fever(ASF) in recent years. According to the principles of "cure disease", "positive gas deposit, evil can not be dry" in the veterinary syndrome differentiation and "King minister to make" prescription, the traditional Chinese medicine prescription are prepared to prevent and control ASF. The characteristics, antiviral components, mechanism of action, differences between Chinese medicine and Western medicine, as well as the application of Chinese medicine in preventing and controlling ASF were summarized in this article. This paper introduces the development of pig re-breeding in Dongkou County, Hunan province, and selects three prescriptions to prevente and control ASF as technical support for pig re-breeding in Dongkou County. Four cases of Chinese medicine treating dengue fever and so on, as well as 12 prescriptions(drugs) treating ASF were collected. And puts forward the suggestions of integrating and screening local resources for the prescription of Chinese medicine, verifying and testing the effect of Chinese medicine on prevention and control of ASF, and developing effective drugs Chinese pharmaceutical compound preparation as soon as possible.
