According to the requirement of agricultural condition and mechanical harvesting technology in Hebei Province,2BFGM-4 type of film covered and combined machine for revolution sowing cotton was designed. It consists of rotary tillage equipment,filming and soil covering equipment,compacting equipment and ditching and sowing equipment.The tillage,ditching,fertilization,sowing,spraying,burying drip irrigation and mulching can be finished in one time.This kind of cotton seed-metering device of double staggered row and ditching equipment is an innovative design. This machine can achieve(68 + 8) cm wide and narrow row planting and provide the conditions for mechanized harvesting.According to the machine power matching calculation,we design the seed-metering device of double staggered row,ditching equipment,and the key components of the membrane soil covering device and combined frame which improves cotton sowing efficiency and reduces the labor intensity by the integrating organically and cooperating effectively. The results of field trial showed that the key technical parameters of the machine rotary tillage,sowing and mulching have reached the design requirements.
