本文介绍了当前同类书区分号的编排原理和使用现状 ,通过对使用最普遍的种次号和著者号的对比研究 ,提出理想的同类书区分号的模式 ,并具体对同类书区分号的设计进行了深入探讨 ,重点是对同类中同一著者的不同种图书和同类同种图书的不同版次、不同译本和不同卷册书的区分提出了自己的具体处理意见。

摘 要：
This paper introduces the design principle and usage state of distinguishing number if the same kind of book at the present time. Through contrasting title number and writer number that are used to distinguish the same kind of books, a feasible distinguishing model is put forward. This paper deeply expounds how to design the distinguishing number, especially for the same kind of books with the same writer, the different edition, the different translator or the different volume.
