The connotation, content and target of new agricultural science and technology revolution were probed. The history of agricultural science and technology revolution was reviewed. The effects of new agricultural science and technology on agricultural development were discussed. The paper points out that the way out for agricultural development lays in new agricultural science and technology revolution in China.
