摘 要:
Aiming at reducing the weight of automobile,a study was performed to redesign the inner door panel of an existing automobile using tailor-welded blank(TWB)structure.The lightweight governing equations of strength,dent resistance and crashworthiness were established to assist in the lightweight design as the constraints.The design reduced the weight of the automotive inner door panel by about 11.9%.Simulation results of side impact showed that the inner door panel with TWB structure performed better than that of the original design in crashworthiness,which confirmed the feasibility of this lightweight design.
