摘  要：
The management of closing hillsides to facilitate afforestation is the most effective and quickest method to rehabilitate ecology and improve environment during comprehensive management of soil and water conservation. In recent years, the exploration and practice conducted by Shanxi Province in the management of closing hillsides to facilitate afforestation have achieved good social effects, promoted the development of social productive force and readjustment of relations of production and initiated a series incisive changes. The management of closing hillsides to facilitate afforestation needs a certain amount of funds to support and should establish a high quality scientific and technical service system.
