To study the effect of Edwardsiella tarda and Vibrio harveyi challenge on the nonspecific immune function and anti-oxidation of hybrid Puffer, intraperitoneal injection PBS, Edwardsiella tarda and Vibrio harveyi, respectively. The hepatopancreas were taken at the 6, 12, 18, 24 and 36 h after infection and the activities of GSH, GSH-PX, T-SOD, GOT, GPT, ACP, AKP enzymes were measured to study the variation of enzyme activities. The results showed that during the 36 h, the value of T-SOD,AKP, ACP increased(P<0.01) in hepatopancreas, the value of GSH-PX and GSH increased in the same. After injection with Vibrio harveyi, the value of GSH-PX, T-SOD were higher than the control and GSH was increased in hepatopancreas. In this experiment, no matter what kind of fish pathogen infection, will cause changes of nonspecific immunity and antioxidant indices in the hepatopancreas.
