【Objective】Aerated irrigation affects crop growth and soil environment and oxygen dissolution is an indicator to assess the efficacy of the aerated irrigation technologies. The purpose of this paper is to examine oxygen dissolution in two micro-devices used for aerated irrigation.【Method】Experiments were conducted to compare the efficacy of the ultra-micron bubble cyclic aeration device and the air compressor aeration device in dissolving oxygen under different temperature and aeration time.【Result】The rate of oxygen dissolution in the two aeration devices decreased with time under different temperatures and aeration durations, especially in the ultramicron bubble cyclic aeration device. The dissolved oxygen was negatively related to water temperature with the coefficient of determination higher than 0.98.【Conclusion】For the air compressor, the dissolved oxygen depended on the air-intake volume, while the air taken into the device for aeration had negligible impact on the uniformity of the efflux rate.
