普洱市思茅区亚洲象肇事原因和对策分析

摘  要：
近几年在思茅活动的亚洲象数量迅速增多,人象冲突日益尖锐。本文通过实地调查、数据收集等方法,分析了2008年~2013年以亚洲象为主的野生动物肇事情况,认为适宜生境和食物的不断减少、亚洲象取食习性的改变以及亚洲象报复行为是造成亚洲象肇事不断加剧的主要原因。根据分析结果,提出了加强亚洲象的栖息地保护、改善亚洲象生境质量、完善亚洲象监测与预警体系、完善补偿机制、调整产业结构、建立以亚洲象为主的生物廊道等缓解人象冲突的建议。

摘  要：
The number of wild Asian elephants have being increased quickly in recent years,Human-Elephant Conflicts(HEC)are becoming a serious problem in Simao.Wildlife damage cases focusing on the Asian elephant damages have been analyzed in this paper based on the data from field observations and other data of varied sources ever since 2008 to 2013.The results showed that the main reasons caused HEC are various including the decrease of habitat and food,diet change,revenge of elephant.Based on the results,we have made some suggestions on HEC reduction which include the promotion of habitat protection、the improvement of habitat quality、the improvement of monitoring and waring systems、the improvement of compensation on crop damages caused by elephants、adjustment of industrial structure、the establishment of ecological corridors,etc.
