新闻英语的语言特点及翻译技巧

摘  要：
新闻英语借助报刊杂志、广播电视、新闻网站、社交网络等传统媒体和新媒体等传播媒介,无时无刻在向大众传递时事政治、商业新闻、科技信息、娱乐时尚等重要资讯。新闻英语是一个独立的语篇,在语言结构、词汇特征上有其自身的语言特点。在语言结构上,其具有"倒金字塔"结构与被动语态两大特征。在词汇选用上,新闻英语推崇使用缩略词、短小词,偏爱修辞手法的使用,契合了新闻英语简洁、大众、新颖的基本特征。翻译者应当掌握新闻英语语言特点,重视积累异域文化知识,进而熟稔新闻英语报道,遵循一定的翻译技巧,方能做好新闻英语的译介工作。

摘  要：
With the help of traditional media and new media such as newspapers and magazines, radio and television, news sites, social networks, Journalistic English communicate to the mass political affairs, business news, science and technology information, entertainment and other important information all the time. Journalistic English is an independent discourse and has its own language characteristics in language structure and vocabulary. In language structure, it mainly adopts the "inverted pyramid" structure and passive voice. In vocabulary selection, journalistic English prefers the use of acronyms and short words, and favors the use of rhetorical device, thus fitting the simplicity, popularity and novelty of journalistic English. It is necessary to master its language characteristics in order to be familiar with journalistic English reports, and it is necessary to follow some translation skills for a good performance in journalistic English translation.
