摘 要：
中国林业在新世纪进入了一个新的历史阶段,实施六大工程,推进五大转变,实现跨越式发展,成为新世纪中国林业的重要特点。该文结合学习十六大精神,较深刻地分析了这三者的关系,认为邓小平理论和"三个代表"的重要思想仍然是统领中国林业一切工作的指导思想;以生态建设为中心,推进五大转变,是中国林业前进的道路;跨越式发展是中国相当长一个阶段的奋斗目标;六大工程是中国林业走生态建设道路的最关键的一步,是实现林业跨越式发展阶段目标的重要举措。
