The improvement of forestry survey and statistical map will be very helpful to provide comprehensive, accurate and timely feedback about the basic situation of industry development.Combined with the application of 3S technology, the data visualization of forest survey and the forestry information map can be realized. The paper takes the application of Professional MapInfo as an example to introduce the making of statistical map of forestry survey.
