19世纪晚期以来英国的土地所有权发生了重大转移,全国大部分的土地从贵族、乡绅等人手里转移到了直接经营土地的农场主手中,这是1066年诺曼征服以来,继16世纪英国宗教改革时期土地所有权发生转移之后,又一次重大的变化。这次土地所有权的变迁,有着深刻的社会历史根源,意义重大,适应了英国农业发展的需要,更好地促进了英国农业生产的发展。

摘  要：
Great changes have taken place in Britain since the late nineteenth century.Most of land transferred to the owner-occupiers from the aristocrats,gentries as well as other landowners.This is another great transformation in landownership after the change of landownership during the Reformation in the sixteenth century,since the Norman Conquest in 1066.This transformation has the social and historical reasons.It has met the agricultural needs and improved the agricultural development.
