桐城派先由桐城一地产生,逐步成为影响遍及全国的一个文学流派。在长期的流衍传播过程中,桐城古文一方面突破了桐城地域的限制,另一方面又在一些新的区域形成了颇具规模的繁荣局面。探讨这种区域性繁荣现象的形成原因,对于研究桐城派的发生、发展规律具有一定的意义。

摘 要：
Tongcheng School was born in Tongcheng county in Anhui province,and then it developed into a literary school which produced great influence all over the country.During the long period of its spreading and development,Tongcheng School broke through the restriction of its geographic location;meanwhile,it also formed a considerably prosperous situation.The paper probes into causes for regional prosperity of Tongcheng School,which is of value to studying the laws of its occurrence and development.
