从认知翻译学看栊翠庵中茶具英译的识解重构

摘 要：
本文从认知翻译学视角对比分析了杨宪益、戴乃迭夫妇及戴维霍克斯和约翰闵福德对《红楼梦》栊翠庵中各种茶具英译的识解重构过程,解释了杨宪益、戴乃迭夫妇及戴维霍克斯和约翰闵福德翻译时的认知活动。结果表明:由于译者对于我国茶文化的理解不同,因而在翻译的过程中对于同一茶具进行了不同的识解重构并采用了不同的译法进行翻译,结果导致杨宪益、戴乃迭夫妇及戴维霍克斯和约翰闵福德对于茶具的译文各有优点与不足,有一些茶具两者的译文都与原文意思存在较大偏差。

摘 要：
This paper made a comparative analysis of construal reconstruction process of English translation of various tea sets at Green Bower Hermitage by the couple of Yang Xianyi Gladys Yang and David Hawkes and John Minford respectively, which explained the internal cognitive activities of the couple of Yang Xianyi Gladys Yang and David Hawkes and John Minford during the translation process. The result showed that the translators made different reconstructions of construal on the same tea set and adopted different translation methods in the translation process due to different understanding of Chinese culture, therefore, the translation by the couple of Yang Xianyi Gladys Yang and the translation by David Hawkes and John Minford had its own advantages and disadvantages, and the translations by Yang Xianyi Gladys Yang and the translation by David Hawkes and John Minford differ greatly from the original meaning on some tea sets.
