摘要：

Resources in the Cultivarieties of Lacquer Tree in Hubei province.Hubei province is one of the major provinces producing the Chinese lacquer. Its output is the second in this country. Hubei is noted for its high yield and good quality of "Mouba lacquer" and "Zhuxi lacquer". Both of them were once included in the five famous kinds of the Chinese lacquer in our country.The southwest and northwest mountain systems in Hubei are a part of the central distribution areas of lacquer trees in China. The mountain systems are located in the subtropical region. The climate and soil are good for growing the species and the history of cultivating lacquer trees is very long. There are more than twenty cultivarieties of lacqur tree in these areas.Following are the main formal, ecological and econmic characters of the eleven special cultivarieties of Hubei province.
