中华农学会是民国时期中国规模最大、影响最为广泛的学术团体,是中国重大历史转折时期的产物。农学会的发展与中国现代农业的发展有着密不可分的关系,它既是中国现代农学兴起的标志之一,很大程度上也推动了中国现代农业的发展和进步。在中华农学会90华诞之际,对学会兴起的历史背景、创建过程、主要工作及历史贡献作一回顾不无史学价值和现实意义。

摘 要：
The Agricultural Association of China (AAC) was the biggest academic institution in the period of Republic of China. Its founding had a close relationship with the development of modern agriculture. It was not only one of the important symbols for the emergence of China’s modern agronomy,but also gave a big push for the establishment of modern agricultural system. At the time of celebration of the 90th anniversary of AAC,It is worthwhile to retrospect the historical background of its foundation,its major endeavors and the significant contributions.
