In order to understand the current situation of the research and researchers in forestry,we have analyzed the papers published on Scientia Silvae Sinicae,an authoritative periodical of forestry in China.The total amount,languages and types of references,the institution and collaboration of the authors,and the types and amounts of foundation was investigated.
