摘  要：
In answer to Prof. Lin Kung-hsiang's criticism, it is pointed out that the present discussion on citrus yellow shoot disease problem is focused on the possibilities of the effect of environmental and physiological conditions on postinfectional host-virus relationships and suppression of symptoms through cultural measures. Hasty rejection of such possibilities is considered to be detrimental to both scientific research and agricultural practice.
