摘  要：
明清时期,黄、淮洪水屡屡倾泻苏北里下河。水走沙停,里下河地区的河湖港汊日趋淤塞,并最终导致射阳湖的消失。里下河自然环境亦因此而完成了从泻湖到平畴的巨大变迁,而自然环境的变迁又进一步加剧了水灾的肆虐性。水灾与自然环境变迁交相作用,将里下河引入赤贫的深渊。

摘  要：
During Ming and Qing periods, the floods caused by Yellow and Huai river flew violently and frequently into Lixia River in north Jiangsu Province. After the floods receded periodically, a great deal of sand was deposited, the streams, lakes and harbors were silted up seriously, and this led to final disappearance of Sheyang Lake. Consequently the change of natural environment from lagoon to level farmland was completed in Lixia River basin. As a result the flood rampaged, and the calamities became more heavier than the past. The interplay between flood disaster and natural environment brought about Lixia River valley an utterly poverty-stricken area.
