This paper introduced the epidemiology, pathogen, genetics, immunological characteristics and transmission characteristics of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS), pathological changes of clinical symptoms, and harm to aquaculture, and briefly introduced the prevention and treatment of PRRS.
